I was born in a small mill town in northern New Hampshire which I deserted after high school to earn my B.F.A. in Photography at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY.

In the summer of 1998 I moved to an apartment in Brooklyn, NY that I am still trying to forget and began assisting a bunch of great photographers before getting my own start shooting.
