Moose Hunt

In 1998 the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department created an annual permit lottery which would allow residents and non-residents the opportunity to hunt moose. At it's peak in the mid-2000's the moose population was estimated to be 7,500 and over 600 permits were awarded. In the decade following a tick infestation decimated the moose population to around 3,500 and in 2017 the number of permits dropped to 70.

These are my photos from a 9 day hunt.
