Native Nations Rise

On March 10th, 2017 the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe gathered with other Indigenous tribal leaders from across the country in Washington DC. They marched to defend their rights to protect Unci Make (Grandmother Earth) and Mni Wiconi (water). The march began at the office of The United States Army Corps of Engineers, stopping briefly at the Trump International Hotel where protesters erected a tipi, before rallying in front of the White House.
