National Walkout Day

On March 14th, 2018 Students from schools around the country walked out of their classrooms in support of gun reform. I followed students from Brooklyn Tech High School who gathered on the street outside of their school to honor and read aloud the names those lost in a shooting that took place at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL where a 19 year old entered the school and killed 17 people. Students then marched to Brooklyn's Borough Hall where they met with students from a number of other nearby schools.
